The sterile white walls of the rehab clinic close in on Kuba ‘Młody’ Gałecki, sweat beading on his brow as he endures another excruciating therapy session. Suddenly, a battered van screeches to a halt outside, and Jerzy Żurek, Kuba’s eccentric, conspiracy-theorist uncle, bursts in, declaring the world is about to end and that Kuba is needed. Kidnapped and dragged to the headquarters of “Prawda TV,” Kuba is introduced to Rysiek ‘Pułkownik’ and Szybki, two equally outlandish journalists who believe the upcoming mayoral elections are rigged. Amidst the chaos of conspiracy boards and frantic investigations, Kuba initially dismisses his uncle’s paranoia. That is, until he runs into his old flame, Gośka, a local activist, who reveals a looming ecological disaster threatening their village, a crisis that Mayor Karol Malinowski seems intent on covering up, stirring a long-dormant sense of responsibility in him.
